Update

36 Weeks (June 19, 2010)

The last few weeks have been busy getting things ready, but as of last Wednesday I am relaxing a lot more than I had planned. My blood pressure increased dramatically and the doctor advised me to take it easy. This is something that has been more difficult than I had thought it would be. My mind is racing with things that need to be done (or I guess things I WANT to get done)!

My managers have been great by moving me out of the most stressful departments to areas that I can sit more and try and keep relaxed. The good news is my appointment today went well, and although my blood pressure is still a bit high, the swelling is down and there aren't any other indicators of preeclampsia. Yippee for a super low salt diet! No canned food for me until the baby comes.

One other new and exciting thing for us is we are now getting our weekly box of fresh veggies from our enrollment with a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). We get different vegetables, some that I have never even heard of, each week and it is a challenge to get them all used up before the next week. Here are some pictures of the last 2 weeks.

Anyone know how I can use Hakurei Turnips?

Wow, those fresh veggies look awesome!! Are they really all locally grown? I want to have something like that!

Rest well and don't worry about being ready for baby's arrival. It'll all be fine. Just stay healthy so you're able to take care of shim!

They are grown in St. Francis which is about 30 miles north of us.
