Baby update

This morning I got to share with Brian what it felt like when the baby kicks. I woke up at 6:15AM, despite it being my day off, to the baby moving quite a bit. As always, I called Brian over to see if he could feel it and today was the first day he could! It was pretty exciting to me that Brian could now feel what I was talking about for the last 3 weeks. Maybe EB will have another companion as an early riser!

We have also decided on a bedding set. We purchased it last Saturday when we were registering.
Last Tuesday we also had our 20 week ultrasound. The baby's heartbeat is in the 150 range which they say is good, my weight gain is appropriate, which I was happy to hear, and all the other tests came back normal. Here are some ultrasound pictures. Hopefully you can tell what they are :)

Bigger car

As Brian and I were shopping last Monday we were discussing our cars and the room in the garage. Brian mentioned getting a bigger car/SUV.

Heidi: "Why do we need a bigger car for just one kid?"

Brian: " We almost fill the car with our stuff when we travel, and we need to add the pack and play, the car seat and the diaper genie."

Heidi: "We don't take a diaper genie when we travel."

Brian: "Well, who else is going to change the baby's diapers when we travel?"


I wish the diaper genie came in lamp.... then they could do a lot more than just change diapers :)

Brian is getting pretty technical with the manufacturers of baby bedding. There was a set that I liked very much called "Jungle Jigsaw". It has 2 large giraffes on it. Brian said that we could not get that one as there are not giraffes in the jungle.

Would like your opinions......

Tomorrow Brian and I are going shopping to look at some baby crib bedding sets. I have searched online at a couple of places and have found 2 I like so far. Which one do you like better?
