Both day cares we visited we were impressed with. One was a center, New Horizons, and the other was an in home day care that, including our child, would have 5 kids. She likes to keep the group small as they do a lot of outings. We are going to visit at least one other in home day care so that we have something to compare it to.
In the 20 week ultrasound, the doctor noticed a space in the choriod plexus of the brain. When describing it to me, my doctor called it a choriod plexus cyst. She didn't want to alarm me and said they are now becoming more and more common as the ultrasound technology gets better. It is seen in at least 5% of ultrasounds when taken between 18-22 weeks. We went in for a level II ultrasound so they could look for other anatomical abnormalities and just make sure everything else looked good. To our relief, it did. So good in fact that the choriod plexus cyst was completely gone! We are both ecstatic with the news!
The ultrasound tech did say that we have a stubborn baby. The baby's head is way down and pressed up against the uterus so it is extremely hard to get pictures of the profile! The baby was also lying on its arm so she had me get up in the middle of the ultrasound and walk around. I did some squats and about 5 minutes later the baby did stop lying on his/her arm. He/She must have been comfortable though as the position did not move. Here are some ultrasound pics.

At Feed my Starving Children we had 78 volunteers for this particular time slot. Their usual pace is about one box per person. We packed 105 boxes of food to travel to places like Haiti to feed the children. One box has 36 bags and each bag contains 6 meals. That math means that we fed 22,680 children. It is amazing that one meal costs only 17 cents, yet there are children all over the world starving. It was quite rewarding and something I would definitely do it again.

Here is also Week 21 picture.... This was after a VERY long day at work!
